Edited: Well, seeing your images, the only thing what I can think is when you run the virtual machine, press F2 to enter on boot menu, select the CD, key C and start the Windows XP installation, you should be able to install it.

If you have already one, just add a CD (at the left from add hard-drive button) and run VirtualBox machine again.

If you get no bootable medium, it means that in your vm both the HDU and the CDU are empty (it can mean too that your vm HDU hasn't any boot record or any OS on).

If you have (as it seems to me to understand) installed virtualbox and created a vm in it, then you must configure it, network and storage, if your vm is brand new.
